Xaviere The sisters had invited us at dinner, my family and me, "a dinner preceded by a prayer" to mark the feast of St Francis Xavier. In fact this festival is Dec. 3, but Saturday night is a better time.
We started with a prayer in the oratory, punctuated by the songs and the evocation of the sisters of St. Francis Xavier. Contemplation united us in a small church of the poor in spirit, from all backgrounds. Then we were invited down to the cafeteria where we were divided by tables, the guests thoroughly mixed by drawing lots, each bearing the name of a city to mark the route of the saint. We have been asked over dinner, think about "what makes us run" and to illustrate a song. More than sharing our thoughts, The best part was the dinner given by the sisters, who singing and expressing mimics what songs inspire them, we have delivered the best of their soul.
They have the Lord in the heart, it overflows into a torrent of joy and purity. What a thrill to receive this!
