Anniversary of Scouting

During my one month stay in France, I was at my parents Carnac August 1. I heard the chapel of St. Columban, the announcement of the gathering of Scouts (I do not say "and former" because for me it is scout ... always!) at sunrise.

I made a scheduling error, and here I am alone, an hour before sunrise on the mound at the foot of the chapel. I was ready to pronounce only the renewal of my promise when I see happen a scout, two scouts, one because of scouts ... finally we got 500 massed against the building, which had rarely seen such a rush!

Young and old we have prayed, sung (Ah Youkaïdi the morning!) And shared a drink in a warm atmosphere of family.

Today is truly a day to mark a white stone.

We had our first meeting of a group sharing the Word, the tombs of kings Pomare. This place is a promontory overlooking the sea, an oasis of calm in the city, immersing us in Creation.
