Prints How To Build A Fireplace
Eric:
Yes, I believe essential to be inhabited by an ideal.
Yes, I think that is essentially Christian than any soft his life to an ideal.
Yes, I think the only life worth living by qu'éclairée ideal.
is, I think, profoundly Christian.
One can not understand for example the Holy Grail of the Knights of the Table Round, having in mind that what is in the Grail: the Precious Blood of Our Lord. This is not the subject of lust, but the subject of a lifetime. Get going to meet, after all the trials and purifications, one who is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
One can understand the tremendous impetus to the Holy Land after the Council of Clermont, Urban II's call, in putting himself in the shoes of all Europe's eleventh century, for which the search God shone all day, since the Angelus in the morning than the evening, through field work, struggles to protect property, care given to the poor.
One can not understand the rush of a Guy de Larigaudie, looking around the world to accomplish his life, knowing the value of acts as simple as a smile (http://filsdechretiente.blogspot.com/2005/ 12/savoir-sourire.html) than having to follow heart, like him, the star which leads him to the open sea.
is also hollow, which lack most young sad I know. They have not had the chance to have met an educator to flourish knowing the ideal resting in them, like a seed waiting for rain benefactress.
Our group would not exist, in my view, if we were not manned by an ideal.
Yes, but which one? Are we putting everyone the same meaning behind that word so rarely used today?
Sylvie
I also read at this time "Smugglers of hope," the Cherisey, which by their books convey all the wonderful efforts of men and women isolated in all corners of the world to improve the lives of their fellows, especially the poor.
I feel that all these people on a day when the other gave free rein to their ideal without knowing if it would work, and it worked.
Are you idealists, and is it a driving force in your life? I think I am one, although I do not have a great project under my belt. Have an ideal, it helps me get up in the morning. I really believe in a better man.
I leave this topic to your thoughts.

The horror at sea
a time when we prepare to return from Paris to Papeete, a Twin Otter of Air Tahiti crashed shortly after takeoff from Moorea. 19 passengers and the pilot disappeared in seconds. Throughout Polynesia is reeling from the disaster that takes a relief especially the following Sunday with the Gospel of Luke 12, 32-48 where Christ tells us in v. 40 "You too, get ready: it's an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh."
With some people, we assemble a group of prayers for the families affected by this tragedy, and more broadly of intercession for Polynesia.

Anniversary of Scouting
During my one month stay in France, I was at my parents Carnac August 1. I heard the chapel of St. Columban, the announcement of the gathering of Scouts (I do not say "and former" because for me it is scout ... always!) at sunrise.
I made a scheduling error, and here I am alone, an hour before sunrise on the mound at the foot of the chapel. I was ready to pronounce only the renewal of my promise when I see happen a scout, two scouts, one because of scouts ... finally we got 500 massed against the building, which had rarely seen such a rush!
Young and old we have prayed, sung (Ah Youkaïdi the morning!) And shared a drink in a warm atmosphere of family.
Perhaps a first step in response to the Pope's call for the reconciliation of scouts??
