Tell the truth, if someone the will tell you.
This thought I was blowing on the screen on my Twitter feed this morning. Strangely, I promised just yesterday in a conversation on this theme because I dared to expose some facts I had witnessed on several occasions as a party directly involved. For some reason I still have trouble seeing, my interlocutor was upset by my revelation. If I had been wrong, somebody would probably have been delighted to come and contradict me. However, it did not happen.
course, truth is not good to say. Everything depends on the risk of what we have to lose the unveiling. Young adult, I remember taking that attitude - ironically it is sometimes admired by some, who say out loud what everyone thinks everything down - and say whatever came into my head, no matter who was s 'find injured. With my advanced age, I realized that sometimes, without lying, it is better to remain silent.
By cons, you can win a lot to know the truth, or to publicize it. To deny certain facts can only perpetuate a damaging stalemate, if not encourage most unproductive hovering. My engineering background probably makes me look for these truths which we are advancing. The main difficulty however lies in the distinction can be made between facts and opinions. And that's where often the real source of conflict.
