Edmonton Men's Shaving

Loan

Or render unto Caesar ...

Jean-Charles Lajoie had called it an "ambush." Others call it a loan. We might try to minimize the thing using a nomenclature soothing, does that inspiration, copying or appropriating the works, the ideas of another person, it's still plagiarism.

And we may say that the "borrowing" is accessible only to a limited number of people, it's still plagiarism. They steal a valuable object to a millionaire or an honest worker who struggles to make ends meet, a flight is a flight. It's the same for these "loans" are not credited.

As the saying goes, who steals an egg, steals an ox. We borrows a little or a lot, it borrows.

Why this output, why now? An anecdotal journey where I realized that was largely inspired by the work of a colleague AllHabs webzine. But instead of rectifying the situation honorably - indicating the source or crediting the author - we chose to attack me, who had dared to denounce, even if it had been done discreetly so as not to expose publicly reproduction that was blatant to me. Another manifestation of the syndrome cépasmoi : it is always easier to defer the blame on each other when one is caught with their pants down. In fact, it is not the way that Mr. Lajoie had reacted when people Sportnographe had flushed ? I wish I knew how that same person would have responded if he had borrowed his text without asking permission.

Ironically, tomorrow is the anniversary of the ambush "Sport, Politics and Society in Central and Eastern Europe" in the commentary of Mr. Lajoie morning.

It seems we do not learn with time ...

Some find me strict or harsh, either. Maybe my hardware is not good enough to be plagiarized, and I do not care, because it's not the point here. Again we say that imitation is a form of flattery, I prefer to be asked permission before entering my property, whether intellectual or not.

And I do so with the property of others. It gives me a matter of respect, pure and simple.
